Social Responsibility

The Mangalkhan Centre for Music and the Arts, the House of Pandanus in Vieux Grand Port, the layers of LFL and the laundry workshop of the APEIM are all different projects with one thing in common: they all aim at the empowerment of vulnerable groups by offering them an opportunity to work, and thus assert their dignity as citizens. The action of the company is not anchored in the ‘doing for’ the vulnerable groups but the ‘doing with,’ so as to help people stand on their own. As Michel de Spéville put it: “We will not give them the fish, we will help them make their own fishing rods. Their future will be in their hands.”
