Maintenance Team Leader

Duties and Responsibilities

PPI Packaging Ltd is currently recruiting a Maintenance Team Leader for its Operations.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance and inspection plans for all machines and systems.
• Inspect equipment, structures, piping and systems with machine operator, to identify any issues.
• Track and analyse maintenance activities on each machine or system (logbook).
• Carry out repairs of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Liaise and coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs.
• Setup and manage mechanical workshop on site, with appropriate tools and equipment.
• Setup and manage spare parts and consumables store on site. 
• Liaise with suppliers (local & international) for quotes and technical information.

Profile

• HSC with preferably Electro-Mechanical Technical Diploma (or equivalent). 
• Proven experience in similar role for a minimum of 3 years.
• Advanced practical knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. 
• Advance knowledge of electrical systems. 
• Basic knowledge of plant machinery
• Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
• Basic computer skills (e-mails, Word & Excel).
