Duties and Responsibilities

Odysseo, Mauritius’ first oceanarium and a pioneer in the Mascarene region, is seeking a Sales Executive to support the Head of Commercial and Marketing in boosting sales and strengthening partnerships within the tourism sector. The role focuses on developing sales strategies, managing B2B relationships, and promoting Odysseo’s Tour Operator Services (TOS).

 

  • Assist in creating and executing sales forecasts and strategies.
  • Monitor tourism industry trends and identify market opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with B2B partners (tour operators, hotels, Airbnb, etc.).
  • Conduct proactive sales calls and follow up on leads.
  • Manage lead acquisition, conversion, and retention plans.
  • Report regularly on B2B sales results and maintain a stakeholder database.
  • Handle sales budgets and expenses efficiently.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, ideally in hospitality or tourism.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Adaptable, organized, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.
