We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer to join our team at Pains et Moulins. The role involves coordinating with production teams, managing inventory, and ensuring an efficient flow of materials and finished goods. Your contribution will be essential to maintaining smooth and reliable bakery operations.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure raw materials and packaging are available on time and propose alternatives in case of shortages.
- Monitor and follow up on all orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and provide timely stock reports to management.
- Assist with demand forecasting and contribute to procurement planning.
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Support the Financial Controller in cost analysis and budgeting for supply chain activities.
- Apply and maintain best practices in supply chain management.
- Request and negotiate improved credit facility terms with suppliers.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally in the FMCG or food industry.
- Basic understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier negotiations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
