- Lead the development of new food products from idea to market launch.
- Identify new product opportunities based on consumer trends and market needs.
- Develop recipes, conduct product trials and support product scale-up to production
- Work closely with production teams to ensure products can be efficiently manufactured at scale.
- Prepare product specifications and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, Production and Quality teams to support successful product launches.
- Contribute to the development and expansion of the product portfolio.
- Monitor market trends, ingredients and competitor products to identify innovation opportunities.
- Ensure all products comply with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Integrate sustainability considerations into product development where appropriate.
Profile
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering or related field.
- Strong experience in food product development and processed foods.
- Good knowledge of food processing technologies and product industrialization.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Innovative mindset with strong attention to quality and consumer needs.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
- Promoter for animal welfare.
