Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new food products from idea to market launch.
  • Identify new product opportunities based on consumer trends and market needs.
  • Develop recipes, conduct product trials and support product scale-up to production
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure products can be efficiently manufactured at scale.
  • Prepare product specifications and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, Production and Quality teams to support successful product launches.
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of the product portfolio.
  • Monitor market trends, ingredients and competitor products to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Ensure all products comply with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Integrate sustainability considerations into product development where appropriate.

Profile

 

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering or related field.
  • Strong experience in food product development and processed foods.
  • Good knowledge of food processing technologies and product industrialization.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Innovative mindset with strong attention to quality and consumer needs.
  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Promoter for animal welfare.
