Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust legal compliance program tailored to our operations.
  • Establish sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.
  • Draft, revise, and communicate company policies to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Conduct proactive audits of processes, practices, and documents to identify and address weaknesses.
  • Provide insightful monthly and quarterly reports on compliance status for the Group and its companies.
  • Stay updated and actively catalogue changes in legislation relevant to our operations.
  • Educate and train employees on regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide legal advice and support in areas such as contract drafting, litigation, and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with external counsels on all court-related matters and facilitate legal structuring with notaries.
  • Ensure preferred legal support in foreign jurisdictions where the Group operates.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive legal framework including guidelines, best practices, and reporting processes.

Profile

 

  • Qualified Law Practitioner with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role or in-house legal experience.
  • A degree in Law (LLB, LLM or related field).
  • Proficiency in both French and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in company administration and secretarial tasks is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt swiftly in a constantly evolving environment while maintaining a focus on key priorities and continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to lean management principles and a proactive approach to challenge current processes.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams under pressure and manage multiple commitments effectively.
