Maurilait, a pioneer in the Mauritian dairy industry, is recruiting an HR Officer. Joining a company with strong values, the selected candidate will play a key role in managing human resources within the Mauritius unit.
- Manage and facilitate the onboarding of expatriate employees, ensuring smooth integration and comprehensive administrative support.
- Ensure site safety by collaborating with relevant teams and monitoring compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Support each employee throughout their journey at Maurilait to maintain a high level of engagement.
- Foster a welcoming environment built on listening, respect, and alignment with the company’s values.
- Deliver high‑quality HR services, including recruitment, payroll and benefits management, and administrative follow‑up.
- Implement training plans to strengthen skills and develop employee talent.
- Actively contribute to employee well‑being by coordinating relevant activities.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with training institutes in Mauritius and abroad to attract top talent.
Profile
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Respectful of Maurilait’s values, with people at the heart of its success.
- Excellent listening and employee support skills.
- Integrity and respect for confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Demonstrates initiative, rigor, and autonomy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
