- Develop and update the bar menu, ensuring a variety of beverages that appeal to the hotel's target audience.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and cocktails, and make recommendations to guests.
- Ensure consistency and quality in beverage preparation and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain bar inventory, including ordering and stocking of supplies.
- Implement and manage inventory control procedures to minimize waste and prevent losses.
- Analyze sales and consumption data to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
- Ensure all bar operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute bar service for special events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties
- Schedule shifts and manage labor costs in line with budgetary guidelines.
- Any other cognate duties
Profile
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Certification in mixology or bartending is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in mixology and knowledge of a wide range of beverages.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
