- Oversee banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, conferences, and functions.
- Collaborate with the Banquet Administration team to understand client requirements and ensure all specifications are met.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and addressing client feedback promptly.
- Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service to exceed expectations.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing banquet team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team skills and efficiency.
- Ensure the quality of meeting room set-ups
- Ensure full control of Banqueting equipment and assets.
- Monitor the proper ordering of all food & drinks required and their storage under clean conditions
- Adhere to all food hygiene & quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative practices to enhance banquet services
- Upsell all property facilities & services
- Any other cognate duties
Profile
- Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism Management or equivalent
- At least 5 years experience in a similar or equivalent management position
- Comprehensive understanding of food and beverage operations, and event planning
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Excellent planning, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good Command of both French & English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to cope with pressure
- Willingness to work irregular hours
- Computer literate in Microsoft office and outlook
