Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, conferences, and functions.
  • Collaborate with the Banquet Administration team to understand client requirements and ensure all specifications are met.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and addressing client feedback promptly.
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service to exceed expectations.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing banquet team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team skills and efficiency.
  • Ensure the quality of meeting room set-ups
  • Ensure full control of Banqueting equipment and assets.
  • Monitor the proper ordering of all food & drinks required and their storage under clean conditions
  • Adhere to all food hygiene & quality standards
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative practices to enhance banquet services
  • Upsell all property facilities & services
  • Any other cognate duties

Profile

  • Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism Management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar or equivalent management position
  • Comprehensive understanding of food and beverage operations, and event planning
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Excellent planning, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good Command of both French & English
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to cope with pressure
  • Willingness to work irregular hours
  • Computer literate in Microsoft office and outlook
