Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic and organized Production Coordinator to join our team. The Production Coordinator will play a critical role in overseeing various aspects of our production process, from managing daily operations to driving innovation and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards

 

  • Supervise and lead production staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Execute and monitor daily production planning to meet targets and deadlines. Track productivity and yield, implementing strategies for improvement as needed.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the production process and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), comparing actual performance against budgeted targets to identify trends and areas of optimization.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to develop new products, from proposal to project follow-up. Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of new projects and processes.
  • Contribute ideas and insights to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the utilization of the ERP system within the production department.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support the development of new
    projects and distribution channels.
  • Manage procurement activities for fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and maintain product quality

Profile

  • Minimum Degree in Food Safety, Management or equivalent
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive results.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in team and encourage participation of team members.
  • Proven experience production management or pack house would be an advantage
  • Self Starter.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to change.
  • Microsoft Office Skills (well versed with Microsoft Excel)
