Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our portfolio of Eclosia properties. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial activities, orchestrating maintenance operations, ensuring lease compliance, and compiling insightful performance reports.

 

  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality of maintenance and construction work carried out by contractors, while effectively managing daily property needs. Continuously assess properties for any damage or inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors and liaise with clients to streamline workflow and expedite project completion, ensuring efficient coordination of tasks.
  • Equip team members with the necessary skills to effectively respond to emergency and crisis situations, fostering a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Develop and manage property operating budgets, monitoring income and expenses to maintain financial health. Prepare comprehensive reports to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Implement preventive facility maintenance measures to uphold the upkeep of yards, parking areas, and buildings, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with contractors and tenants, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to effective property management.
  • Attend board meetings to deliver routine reports on property activities, including thorough inspections covering structural integrity and lighting considerations.
  • Coordinate tenders for major maintenance projects and service agreements, overseeing the procurement process to ensure cost-effective solutions and high-quality outcomes.
  • Deliver timely and efficient service while adhering to national and local regulations, prioritizing accessibility and compliance to uphold standards of excellence.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of 2-5 years in a similar role.
  • Good verbal and written communication abilities, enabling clear and concise interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong planning and organising skills, with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership prowess, motivating and guiding a team of professionals in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Established relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Proficiency in property regulations, possessing a comprehensive understanding of legal requirements and compliance standards governing property management.
  • Outstanding customer service aptitude, fostering positive relationships and satisfaction.
