Financial Controller

Duties and Responsibilities

While enjoying a rewarding work environment, the Financial Controller - in close collaboration with our Head of Finance - will take charge of financial management, strategy, and analysis in a dynamic and thriving organization.

• Ensure financial policies and procedures are maintained to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Implement internal control
• Analyse and report the company’s operational performance
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance on new projects and feasibility studies
• Assist in preparation of budget and financial forecasting
• Manage financial risks and treasury
• Manage the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Coordinate the preparation of monthly management account
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements
• Verification of and reporting on monthly general ledger reconciliation
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process

Profile

• ACCA qualified or an equivalent professional qualification
• 5 years working experience in related field
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards; knowledge of IAS and IFRS standards
• Committed towards earn management with the ability to challenge current processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and achieve results
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach and develop others and to drive inclusion
