WeCycle

WeCycle is the first circular economy manufacturing company of Mauritius. Since 2012, it has established itself as a key player in responsible waste management. Initially focused on exporting recyclable waste, the company reached an important milestone in 2022 by developing local transformation solutions. With recycling and production units in Mauritius, WeCycle now operates across the entire value chain: from collection, through a network of over 200 partners, to recycling.

 

The company transforms recovered paper and cardboard into high-value finished products, such as egg cartons and kraft paper, helping replace imports with locally manufactured alternatives. This strategic positioning secures local opportunities for recycled materials. By ensuring full traceability of material flows, WeCycle supports a sustainable circular economy for Mauritius and, in the long term, for the entire Indian Ocean region.
