Maintenance Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic Maintenance Officer to join our team. The Maintenance Officer will play a critical role in overseeing various aspects of collaboration with stakeholders, from managing daily operations to preventive maintenance and ensuring compliance with biosecurity and safety standards

- Supervising and leading a team of maintenance technicians
- Developing and implementing maintenance schedules and plans
- Coordinating preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and equipment failures
- Ensuring compliance with maintenance standards and procedures
- Identifying and troubleshooting technical issues
- Contractor and Sub-contractor Coordination
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards
- Available for emergency maintenance situations, such as equipment breakdowns

Profile

- Diploma or B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years' experience minimum
- Very good knowledge of IT tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in team and encourage participation of team members.
- Experience in industrial maintenance would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems
- Self Starter.
- Holder of a valid Driver's license
