Avipro East Africa Ltd bets on unity

Mar 03, 2026

On February 27, 2026, Avipro East Africa Ltd (AEAL) paused its operations for a day. The destination? Midas Gardens in Nakuru. The objective: to strengthen team spirit.

A total of 35 employees took part, representing the company’s different departments: hatchery, farming, logistics, and administration. All gathered away from their daily routines to connect in a different setting.
The day, organized with the support of Zohara Events Management, was filled with simple and participatory activities. The focus was on communication, trust, and collaboration - practical exercises designed to help colleagues better understand one another and work more effectively together.

As the day progressed, the barriers between departments began to fade. Each participant gained a better appreciation of the others’ roles within the company’s value chain. Conversations were open. Laughter was plentiful.

Beyond the games and workshops, one message stood out: Avipro East Africa’s performance depends first and foremost on its people. A company moves forward when its employees move forward together.
By taking this time to reconnect, AEAL reaffirmed an essential truth: its greatest strength lies in the unity of its women and men.
